This year for the first time Stichting Monumentenfonds Aruba together with Stichting Rancho participated with Aruba Doet.

We worked together with volunteers and the help of our sponsors for two days in the Rancho area to create the ‘Water alley’. The water reservoir is a more than hundred years old monument, it was completely cleaned with the help of the Fire Department.

We also planted local plants and fruits and vegetable and also some Aloe Vera Plants. A local artist Franco Koolman helped with painting the plant pots to bring some color and life to the neighborhood. SMFA (Stichting Monumentenfonds Aruba) and Stichting Rancho would like to thank everyone who helped with the hard work and our sponsors who helped us to realize this project.
