Sunday 25^th of September, Monumentsfund Aruba, Santa Rosa, Cultural Department Aruba and Fundacion Museo Arubano organized for third consecutive year a Fiesta di Cunucu ( Cunucu Party ) as the last Monuments month activity.

After organizing the event in Tanki Leendert and Brazil , this year we were in the district of Noord. The fiesta di Cunucu was a complete success with a variety of local, folkloric dances and music, local food, crafts and plants at the local market organized by Santa Rosa. The cunucuhouse was furnished with the collection of the Community museum in San Nicolas. Also the Wantombas (Scare Crows) have become an important part of this celebration.
