The Willem III Tower has been since the year 1868 a striking landmark in Aruba. It was formerly used as a lighthouse, today it houses the Historical Museum.
The military Fort Zoutman was built in 1798 by the architects of the Military Committee. The Fort has no longer its military function but houses now the Historical Museum.
